DIAL-A-BUS INFORMATION

The Rossmoor Bus Service operates daily. Six bus routes operate Monday-Friday. When the routes are not in operation, the Rossmoor Dial-A-Bus provides service. The times that the Dial-A-Bus is available, and when to call and request the service is described in DAB Schedule. The number to call for Dial-A-Bus and Paratransit service is 988-7676. Paratransit service is available for residents who are physically unable to use the regular bus service.

Weekday Morning Dial-A-Bus
6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

Early Morning bus service connects with the CCCTA buses that leave at 6:25, 6:45 and 7:27 am from the Rossmoor Shopping Center. The bus also goes to the Medical Center and other destinations in the valley. You can call anytime to request service, but at least 60 minutes prior to you desired pick-up time.

Evening Shuttles
5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Shuttle Buses leave the shopping center and take riders to their entries. It is not necessary to call for shuttle buses, they leave at the times shown below. Returning to Rossmoor, the buses check the Gateway shelter for riders.

Weekday Evening Dial-A-Bus
6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Call after 5:30 pm to book a ride.
Riders may call up to 60 minutes in advance, with service requests. The same phone number is used whenever requests are made. 988-7676.

Saturday Dial-A-Bus
8:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m
Sunday Dial-A-Bus
9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Call 988-7676, to make pick-up requests. Riders going to church services or the Rossmoor Shopping Center from 10:00 - 11:00 am do not need to call for the bus. The scheduled times for pick-up are shown in Bus Schedule. Trips will be made into downtown Walnut Creek, on request only, at 9:30 & 11:30 am, 1:30, 3:30, 5:00, 7:00 & 9:00 pm. The Rossmoor bus will stop at the CCCTA bus stops. The service area is bordered by the BART station on Ygnacio, Newell Avenue, South Broadway and Olympic. Stops include the Dean Lesher Regional Center for Arts and the Broadway Plaza. Please make your pick-up request 1 hour before the desired time.

Bus Schedules can be picked up at main bus shelter at Gateway or administration office.
